I have a belkin usb hub, and when xp installs it, at the end of the installaion, it says it may not work properly. Belkin insists on using the generic xp driver, which is fine but i think something may be wrong with the cab?
Anyway, after the installation, my usb is rendered useless. I can't find a way to revert the change other than restoring a ghost image. There seems to be nothing new in device manager.
Any ideas?

There are possible entries in the registry, delete them. I you updated to USB 2.0?

Not sure where to look in regedit.
And, I was unaware that usb was upgradable to 2.0.
Is it a software or firmware upgrade, and where might I look for such an upgrade? I can't find mention of 2.0 in either of my computers.
