From what I have read, it doesn't seem possible to print to a usb port from the DOS shell. Does anyone know how I can do this? I did find a company with a USB stack for DOS, but it costs money and is for application testing and development. Probally not for me.

Thanks,

Peter

You can print from DOS with "list off to lpt1". Is this what you are looking for?

Well I actually have a printer connected directly to the USB port. A program I have uses a DOS batch file to print. It just copies to the LPT1. I need a way to copy or send directly to the USB port. I can then modify the batch to point at the USB port. However USB doesn't use port numbers. It's a bus configuration. Nothing is connected to LPT1.
