I've got an HP 1320 I'm attempting to attach to an HP laptop. It bongs at me when I plug the cable in but it doesn't show up to try and install it like other USB things. It shows up in Device Manager and says it needs to install the driver. Well I manually downloaded and installed the driver using that interface and get some message about failed registry attempt (I don't remember exactly what it is now). I googled the crap out of that error and got nothing. I tried HP's auto Plug and Play installer and it just gets hung up. If I go to Add a printer and have it automatically detect it doesn't. Which isn't surprising but normally it will show up on "Use the following port: " but no printer or USB001 or anything but LPT's, COM's, and an IR port show up. I just formatted and reinstalled on the laptop.
