Is it possible to use a USB port in QBasic?

yes, you can reach all of your computers hardware through BASIC. You should probably use INTERRUPT, OUT, DATA, PEEK, or POKE. I don't know the command though, this hint will just get you to start

Thanks qb,

It doesn't help much unless I know how to address the port.
Can anyone point me in the direction of a tutorial on the port specs, addresses, and pinouts?

here is a website that has a powerful hardware detection code on it, it should show you the address of the port, but I'm not sure if its there or not.

Thanks NOPIK, There's a lot of reading there!
