I have a HP dx6100 computer with WIN2K on it.It is connected with an ISDN modem with USB connection.Everytime that I am in the Internet the workstation shuts down and reboots.

Any idea what might be going on?

Thank you

Is this something that once worked and doesn't now or is this a new configuration? Have you done a virus/spyware scan? Have you checked the motherboard manufacturer's site for bios/driver updates that may address the problem? Have you checked for new modem drivers? Have you tried going to the internet with a browser other than Internet Explorer?

Start, Run, eventvwr.msc
What does the Event Viewer say is the issue?

i had the same issue before ,
it was due to an insufficiant power supply ( 300 W ) , so check that, it may solve your problem , via chipset may be also a problem
