Hi,I've bought a usb pci card with 4 external usb port. My OS is windows 98 and after i've installed the card with the drivers, windows recognize the usb card but when i connect peripheral at the usb card like a mp3player or a digital camera (all the peripherals have theirs drivers installed)the OS recognize the peripheral but I can't access at the peripheral.
Anyone can help me?

A little info on the computer and USB card. In Device Manager, scroll all the down and tell us what it says in "USB" section.

Were there any utilities that came with your peripherals?

If you have your system pretty well loaded it could be that you have used up all your irq's and these pci usb cards need irq's.
Also, i have had probs with and seen other reports about usb 2.0 pci cards with ALI chipsets in them. Would yours have an ALI chip on the card? I had to take the card out and put a different one it and then it worked fine.

Good advice + great people = tek-tips

I forgot, sometimes changing the card to a different pci slot can help as well.
