usb not appearing

There are 2 USB ports onboard a MSI 6337 ver 1 (815E pro).

I recently upgraded the computer from NT to 2000 Pro.
The USB controller does not show up in Device Manager. Is there a driver that can be installed. I looked on the internet for a USB driver for the motherboard, but could not locate one.

Did you try looking for an updated flash for your MB and BIOS?

As far as I know, there really isn't any "drivers" for USB ports.

I recommend going to your MB makers site and d/l firmware and software from it.

Make sure it is enabled in the BIOS, SP4 should have the drivers.

1.You might have to re-install the chipset (815) in order for win2k to recognize the USB Controller.

2. Service Pack 4 should contain the USb Drivers
