I currently have a new Dell Poweredge server 1600 with SCO 5.0.6 loaded on it. My problem is this. I only have one serial port on the server and I need to have two modems configured on the server. One for dialing in and one for dialing out. My modem for dialing in is on my only serial port and it is setup and working on COM 1. I need to know if anyone has ever had any sucess installing a USB modem on a SCO server. If you have had sucess, what type of USB modem is it and how did you install it.

Thanks,

Why don't you just add another serial port for your second modem?

The issue with using USB modems would be getting SCO drivers for them. What you are trying to do is not very common because people setting up a modem bank on a SCO server would more likely use a multi-port serial board and standard external serial modems.
