USB interaction

Hey I need to design a circuit that receives data trough paralel or serial input and then converts it to USB standard, so that I can read that given data in my computer.

Does anyone know any chip that does that? Where should I start?

There are all kins of converters available that will convert serial or parallel to usb. Is that what you mean?

That was an interesting page. I'm basically willing to design a usb hardware device and I'm qutie new at it.
