USB Hub and system crash ?

Wonder if anyone can help me again?. ( think I would die without this Forum )


I have updated one of the G4?s in the office, which was running os 9.04 to 9.2 , with 9.1 patched first.

When my client boots up now, it sometimes and only sometimes crashes ?I have checked everything that I can think of,

It has a Belkin 4 port USB hub connected model F5U010 ( which says for imacs on it ) and a Cannon cannoscan FB636U , plus Epson stylus 1200 printer. connected into this hub.

I have tried searching the web to see if any of these peripherals needed software updates, but I cant find any.


Any ideas where I should be looking ? As I am more pc based, I have not quite figured out this extension manager yet ?

Have you rebuilt the desktop file?

Alt+Command on bootup. If you can't fix it in 20 minutes call someone who can.

Yep tried that, now my firewaire has gone hay wire... and people say macs are easy :-(
