Can any one help me?

I am trying to get data from two or more scanners(barcode scanners) which are connected to a single pc(windows 98) through a 7-port-usb hub.When data comes from scanner,i just want to know from which scanner the data has come, based on this i have to program.I have some idea about mscomm component , i've tried but failed.Any help or clues will be appreciated greately.

Take a look in MSDN under "TWAIN". This is the interface to which almost all scanners interoperate.
