Hi, I hope someone can help me out here.
I have a Lacie D2 120GB USB ext HD (NTFS) attached to my laptop (IBM Thinkpad running Win XP Pro), about 55GB full.
During a move yesterday the Lacie took a small bash. When I set everything up, things seemed OK (the drive was listed, files were all present). Except a few files were not reading properly (along with an odd 'stuck' sound when it tried to access these files). So I did an Error-check through Explorer, which produced more unhealthy sounds and then...
The drive is NOW listed in Explorer under Properties-General as an UNFORMATTED 0 bytes, and under Properties-Hardware-Volumes (and clicking 'populate') as the usual 114GB.
Is there anyway to get my computer to recognise the drive & its contents again? Any sound advice will be MUCH appreciated!
