Hello, apologize for the dumb, simple question - but thought I should ask before heading out and buying something that does not work.

I have just received a hand-me-down G3 with a Prokeyboard that I will using as pure test meachine for web sites. The cord on the keyboard is waaaaay short. So, I was thinking, would it be possible for me to pick up a standard USB extension cord and use it to move the CPY off my desktop? Is there any particular spec I need to look out for?

Yes, but keep the extn as short as possible - Apple includes a 1m extn with new PowerMacs.
