I have a Powermac 9500/132 with a Sonnet G3 500/1 processor, and OS 9.1. I have installed a USB card (Sonnet Tango) and made the assumption that I could connect any USB device. However, Apple says that I cannot connect with a digital camera (after I tried and failed). The camera I am attempting to access is a HP Photosmart 320.
I also am told that there is a similar problem running a USB scanner. Is this true? Is there a decent serial scanner that works for this machine?
Thanks for the help.

I'd check with the manufacturer and make sure I have the latest software for the camera. typically what you get on a cd with the camera is already outdated :)

As far as serial scanners, I'm sure you mean SCSI. They are a little harder to find nowadays, but yes they are available, they are just more expensive.

Best of luck,
PT
