USB Controllers not displayed

Got a Win 98 SE machine and was trying to connect USB Modem to Broadband but would not work, found that USB Contollers are not shown in device manager can these be installed from the Win 98 SE disc or from some other source.
On the other hand I may not bother as machine is a few years old and may upgrade MB and Proc etc.
But would help to know if USB can be installed to existing machine.

Yes Win98 SE supports usb, you may need to enable the usb in the bios and install the motherboard drivers for it to install.
