USB conference phone for softphone

I recently purchased a polycom c100 usb powered mini conference speaker to use with my Your Assistant sofphone....but it sucks. has anyone used anything else that they have had success with. The speaker on this equipment is ok but the microphone is horrible.

It is mostly for listening. Sound processing for speaker-phones is a tricky business. I think the major issue is a feeback from the speaker. Win XP has internal echo cancellation engine, not shure if YA can use it.
