USB Camera on Mandrake 9.0

I have Mandrake 9.0 loaded on 2 different computers. When I connect my Sony P51 digital camera to the USB port of the first computer, an icon appears on the desktop and the camera is automatically mounted as removable media. When I connect the camera to the other computer, nothing happens.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. CaKiwi
