I have a 2gb pqi thumb drive I use to transfer large files to a home desktop. Whiel the office desktop can read and copy to and from the drive with no problems, the home machine cannot. Copying from drive to home machine results in an error message that the source file cannot be found. Closing and reopening the drive brings up an apparently empty drive. Removing it and reinserting shows all files again.

The files can be edited and manipulated on the drive. Smaller files can be copied back and forth successfully.

Is this perchance a hub issue?

See if this fix from another forum helps:
1. Right click "My Computer", and select "Manage".
2. Select "Device Manager".
3. Expand "Disk Drives".
4. Right click the thumb drive, and select "Properties".
5. Click the "Policies" tab.
6. Select "Optimize for performance".
7. Select "OK".
8: Reboot your computer.

No policies tab (I am logged on as admin). Changing hubs I managed to copy the files which gave me difficulty, but copying over a different file I receive an I/O error. Working on it. Thanks for the assistance.
