Usage & steps of One way broadcast in OS4000 get 8

Hi all,

Need to configure one way broadcast in unify is 4000.
I have given attribute to one digital phone & created access code with DAR = BROADCST.

further nothing mentioned in feature usage documents.

I mean there has to be some kind of group to be created which can be accessed by particular digital phone to enable LOUDSPEAKER on the group members.

Guys kindly help this & if possible share commands.

I do believe a Communication Group is what's needed here. AMO: COMGR
Yeah, the documentation is a bit sketchy.

To voice call to a SINGLE PHONE only
ADD-WABE:*80,,,VOICECAL,N;

On the Calling phone
CHANGE-SDAT:XXXX,ATTRIBUT,VC;

On the Called phone:
DELETE-ACTDA:STN,XXXX,VCR;


Then dial *80 (or other code you have setup) and you come out over the speaker of the digital phone, IP phone and/or DECT phone.

I would like to know how to broadcast to a group so if you do find out please pass it on - thank you

I used to know how to do this - I could broadcast sitewide thru the speakers, but I can't remember and I'm getting ready for an extended vacation. If I remember correctly it's actually called "broadcast". Com Groups are for specific groups - I used to use them for different exec groups, and you can only have so many in a group. Voice call I believe addresses a specific phone, but doesn't have to be in a group - I have never done that. If I find how I set it up back then I will share.
