Hi all,

We have an Opt 11C in our Canada office that we want to reuse in the US, are there any signaling standards or X11 software differences for the two markets?

thanks,
Crash

B8ZS...ESF, that's one of those T-things isn't it? We use those sometimes but generally go for the 6 more channels (7 if you're using one of those D-things) you get with an E-thing! No more AMI, D4 etc. etc. etc.

No, as John said, everything should be fine. The only problem you could have would be package dependant. That can happen as easily moving a PBX from Portland to Atlanta as it would be in your case. For that matter I've moved PBXs from Afica to the Middle East, Europe to Asia and Asia to the USA without changing software or adding packages.

usually a euro to north america requires a change due to ddi/pri e1/t1 config.. but with a north america move, i don't see a package problem unless you need new features

thanks for the responses guys, I guess that's the result of being the 51st state - you share the same standards.....except for possibly building codes for igloos.

......ME, Europe, Africa and Asia use different power standards and PRI/PRE or E1/T1 standards. The system will never match with Nortel's KRS database and create major issues for software upgrades in future.

As for move within NA, its cool....no issues.
