US and Internation phone number input mask ? 1

Is it possible to have two different imput masks on one field? I like to have the Phone number input mask on my phone field, but just realized that my database contains internation numbers. They were put in before I joined the company. The original table did not have imput masks. I added them

We just had a client change phone numbers and it will not let me make the change as it will not conform to the USA input mask.

Any ideas?????

PS: I think I will encounter the same problem with the Zip code as well.

I never use input masks especially not in the table design. You might be able to use two text boxes on a form with two different input masks. Make one or the other visible based on the value in a country field.

Good idea for the next database, unfortunately I am unable to make that type of change as this database gets uploaded to a website and everything must stay the same structuralwise.

What's your question then? If you can't change anything then what are you asking to change?

I'm only suggesting you remove the input mask from the table design. I assume you can then modify your forms to add controls.

My original question was if a field could have two different input masks, but after reading your post I realized I was trying to ask an Orange to also be a House.

Can't be two things at once. I will remove the imput mask and deal with the field as straight text.
