urlmon is possibly corrup

just finished windows update with win xp home edition. rec'd blue screen with 'the image urlmon.dll is possibly corrupt. the header checksum does not match the computer check sum'. help.
 
You need to start the recovery console as per
Once you are there type each of these commands one at a time and press return. Change d: to the drive that has your windows CD in it.

CD c:\windows\system32
del urlmon.dll
expand d:\i386\urlmon.dl_ urlmon.dll
exit

Further error messages may follow along the same lines, if so then follow the steps above.

Once you are back into windows if you find that you are experiencing problems it may be that the system was corrupted as a result of Malware.

If so try cleaning it by following the advice in
