On my computer, and on our host's computer, when opening our URL to edit, Front Page prompts for a user ID and password just as it should.
When we try typing in the URL on one particular user's computer, it just opens, with no prompt for a user ID or password. The same thing happened when we tried typing in the IP address instead. I then uninstalled FrontPage 2000 and installed Front Page XP, hoping to "brainwash" the history and start fresh. Unfortunately, the history of all of the previously opened webs is still there. Now when the URL is typed in, FP will not pull up the URL - it says it is inaccessible.
Any ideas? I really don't want to pay Microsoft the $35 "incident" fee! I'd like to know how to get rid of these previously opened pages so I can set it up so that she always defaults to opening the live online web to make edits, and won't open a backup copy unless she deliberately intends to. Any help is appreciated! =-)
