URL statistics on search engine?? 1

Hi everybody , I have a question for you.

I wish to know if there is a tool/webpage that permits me to check an specific URL placed on search engines? -positions-.

Suppose that I've created a site named

http://www.sodax.com

and I have submitted it on differents search engines. How can I know if my domain is well positionned on those search engines???

we'll assume that that isn't actually your domain as it diverts to a domain reseller. one missed opportunity for you to get a backlink there to your own site, unless of course you are just doing a URL drop for the reseller. If that turns out to be the case this will be RFed and deleted.

search on your keyphrases. If it doesn't appear in the first few pages it's not well positioned.

submitting to search engines is pretty much a waste of time. you should submit to directories and get a few links to your site then the crawlers will find you.

should fit the bill - it tests whether a given site appears in the top 3 pages for a given keyword. There are a couple of equally useful tools on the same site (an inbound link counter and an indexed page counter).
