We've done URL reporting with SQL Server Reporting Services, but we'd like to do the same with Crystal XI. I have two books, and there's nothing on URL reporting at all.We can send a link to the users from a report nested in an ASP.NET page, but those reports use parameter prompting. We'd like to pass the parameter in the querystring.

Any advice is appreciated!

synapsevarmpire,

No, we're not using the Server. I'll be writing the reports throught .NET and using the Report Viewer component.

Thanks synapsevampire!

Looks like the URL reporting in some of the documentation refers to .crw files, which seem to do a redirect to .aspx pages......I was just trying that and get "Page Cannot Be Found"

I'll try the link you just sent!

Thanks for the help...I'll keep ya posted!

All,

In the .aspx.vb Page_Load, use the Report Viewer's SelectionFormula property to build the same condition you would while in Crystal for the record selection formula.

That did the trick for us!

Thanks!
