I installed crystal Enterprise 9.0 on a Microsoft Server 5.0. This should have configured the server for reports but that just did not happen. I need to app map for the .rpt extension but I have no idea what dll it should point to can anyone tell me where their app maps point or give me a clue about what I did wrong on the install. Thanks.

If you open IIS look to the Default Web site(if you have not deleted it). Then look at the app mappings for .rpt, .csp, .cwr etc.

They should all be looking at the wcsisapi.dll

CE9 should have set up the mappings for the default web site.

If you are manually entering the path to the dll in IIS, you will need to use the old DOS tilde naming. It's a bug in IIS.

C:\progra~1\Crysta~1\....

Hope this helps you out.

Cheers,
