URL Hide

I have a url like

http://www.somedomain.com/media/news2/video.asx

now I want to use this stream on my website but by hiding the original URL.

1. I first want to create a URL like

http://www.myowndomain.org/media/news2/video.asx

or

http://myowndomain.org/index.php?media=video.asx

etc. so that the original URL get hide.

2. Then I want to stream this URL on my PHP pages.

If using Apache as web server, you can make use of Apache rewite module.

i don't think that's what the OP was meaning. i read the post as that he was trying to scrape content from another's site and stream it to viewers of his own site.

i'm probably wrong though.

you could include the second website in an iframe, or if you want to get overly complicated, load it into an AJAX object (div.innerHTML) and run from there.
