I HAVE ALL THE IP ADDRESS AND DNS SETTING IN, I SEE THE ICON FOR THE SERVER, YET WHEN I CLICK ON THE ICON, IT TELL ME I CANT ACCESS THE DRIVE, I DONT HAVE PERMISION, BUT I DO. I CAN TELNET AND PING THE SERVER, JUST CANT SEE THE FOLDERS. HELP PLEASE

Are you using samba or visionfs or afps?
what version of sco?

assumption #1 using samba to access file shares:

make sure the smb and nmb daemons are running (they should be if the server shows up in the browse). check your smb.conf file at least one share should be set to browsable. set up a wide open share on some harmless directory. if you are able to see this share then it will be a permission problem.

further information will help someone steer you in the right direction.
