URGETNT - Microsoft OLAP Cubes connecting error

Hello All,

I have developed some cubes on Microsoft OLAP Server 7.0 and it has got role attached as 'Everyone' and in our development enviornment it used to work i.e. I could connect to OLAP Cubes via Crystal Analysis Professional(CAP)and could make the analytical views (.car files).

But now when I have brought my cubes to customer site, where the cubes are there on a OLAP server and then I processed the cubes. But when I am trying to connect it via Crystal Analysis Professional then I can only see the Server and OLAP Databases but not the cubes under it.

I have specified role as 'Everyone' but still it doesnt work. Could anyone help me soon as I really need to show demo by tomorrow noon.

I would appreciate any reply in this regard.

Have you checked the services ID login for your application? Is it in the same domain and does it have OLAP permissions in the domain (this is different than server/cube roles).

Most likely when you can't connect to the datasource, but you know the application works the solution is somewhere in the permissions/sercurity schema.

Could you please list the error #, so I know where to start...
