I ran "nd restart" on a machine. Now I can't ping it or ping from it. I can ping the machine from itself but that's it....help!!! [sig][/sig]

What output do you get if you type &quot;ifconfig -a&quot;? [sig]<p> Andy Bold<br><a href=mailto: > </a><br><a href= > </a><br>"I've probably made most of the mistakes already, so hopefully you won't have to..." Me, most days.[/sig]

Qoute from the nd MAN page
&quot;The /etc/nd command is used to start or stop configured network adapter drivers. Configured network adapter drivers will start automatically at system startup time if /etc/nd is linked to /etc/rc2.d/S35dlpi.&quot;

Is it possible to a fresh restart &quot;init 6&quot;

My guess is a reboot fix what ever state your kernel in.
Maybe you tried that already ?

Please advise
