Please post the VMGEP; and the GHDAP:GRP= VM group; plus other relevant printouts.
Did you set the VMGEI:GRP=VM-group,IFCIND=0; ?

Hi Telelion,

do you have an SPU4 board in the classic LIM?

I do, but i thought IPLU does not need an SPU4.

NANSI:NUMSE=2300&&2331,NUMTYP=EX;
What about 3000 the GH number???

IPBOI:BPOS=1-2-40,IP=245.17.41.2,MASK=255.255.255.0, ROUTER=245.17.41.1;
What about ILPU in TS? should this be media_gateway_ineterface?
IPGDI:LIM=1,DOMAIN="TelSvr-1",CODLST=C-30&B-30, MAXCAL=16;

GESPI:CSP=0,TRAF=1100151515,SERV=2071501001300, CDIV=11511110,ROC=023001,NPRES=1010;
GEDII:DIR=2300&&2331,LIM=1,CSP=0;

IPEXI:DIR=2300;
IPEXI:DIR=2301;
IPEXI:DIR=2302;
IPEXI:DIR=2303;
IPEXI:DIR=2304;
IPEXI:DIR=2305;
IPEXP:DIR=ALL;
ICFUI:IFCIND=1, USER=GENERIC, UPDFCN=YES;
Does not take the UPDFCN?
but if i do ICFUC with UPDFCN=Yes it works?
bur ICFUP does not show UPDFCN = yes?

ICFUC:MWF=ALL;

ICMWC:SID=01,DTXT=3000,DIG=3000,KFCN=MWC;\

GHGRI:GRP=3000,LIM=1,SERV=1000,TRAF=15,SEL=110,QUE=10;
SEL and SERV not in range??

GHGMI:GRP=3000,DIR=2300&&2331;

VMGEI:IFCIND=1,DIR=2300&&2331;

what about VMGEI:IFCIND=1,grp=3000;?????

KSFKC:DIR=2001&&2299,KEY=2,FCN=MEW;

CDINI:DIR=2001&&2299,DIV=3000;

ASPAC:pARNUM=191;PARVAL=15;

what about PARNUM=109?

If am using some ports for AA and some for VM what do i do?

AA ports work fine all the way untill i run VMGEI, then trying to access VM gives congestion?

How many DTFM tone detctors does a ILPU have?

when i make changes, does OB need to be stopped?

When making changes to GH memebers, do i need to run VMGEE and take the groups and memebers out?

TELEC3

ugh, my bad. SPU functionality is built-in offcourse.
what firmware are you running on the IPLU? (board_sw -status -bpos x-xx-xx)

R3F on IPLU/2, just upgraded to SP3 and testing

TELEC3

Hi TeleLion

I did it this way: (that works)
I have just commented your questions...

NANSI:NUMSE=3000,NUMTYP=EX;
GHGRI:GRP=3000,TRAF=15,SEL=110000,QUE=0,SERV=10000;
ICFUI:IFCIND=1,USER=GENERIC;
ICFUC:IFCIND=1,UPDFCN=YES;
ICFUC:MWF=ALL;
...
VMGEI:IFCIND=1,GRP=3000;

If you will have direct dialling in through a GH group, then create one GH group and make a CDINI to the messaging GH group (VMGEI group).

Of course use the newest s/w provided.

Somme added answer:

When I make changes, does OB need to be stopped?
-> Should not be need, but I restart just to be shure..

When making changes to GH members, do I need to run VMGEE and take the groups and memers out?
-> This I would recommend!

///doktor

What about the Group hunt memebers????

do i use GHGMI or VMGEI:DIR-xxxx,ifcind=1

Please advise

When i run ICFUP can not see UPDFCN = yes , although i did ICFUC with UPDFCN=YES is that a fault??/

TELEC3

Use first GHGMI:DIR=xxxx&&xxxx,GRP=yyyy;
Then use VMGEI:DIR=xxxx&&xxxx,IFCIND=1;

You cannot see UPDFCN = YES in the ICFUP; printout.
Maybe this is a fault...

But I did a "ICFUC:IFCIND=1,UPDFCN=YES;", so it is hopefully OK.

downgrade IPLU firmware to R3C. R3D and R3F firmwares are having issues...

Hi Doctor,

I have 4 departments and 12 ports on my OB, each departemnt has a DID 1000,2000,3000,4000, the 12 ports are :

1001,1002,1003 Department A GH = 1000 -->Call processor AA1
2001,2003,2003 Department B GH = 2000 -->Call processor AA2
3001,3002,3003 Department C GH = 3000 -->Call processor AA3
4001,4002,4003 Department D GH = 4000 -->Call processor AA4

AA works fine, how can i inegrate VM now?

If i run VMGEI:GRP=1000, IFCIND =1;
when calling xxx-xxx-1000 i get congestion tone.
when dialing 1000 i get the VM

If i run VMGEI:DIR=1001,IFCIND=1; it's the same.

but all other GH work fine. Basically what your saying is to create an empty GH example 1000.

Create a GH example 5000 and add the 12 ports.

CDINI:DIR=1000,DIV=5000;

if that works how will i be able to guide my calls to different call processors because i have a different AA for each department.

Howsrdaddy:
I tried R3C and had the same problem.

TELEC3

Hi TeleLion

Your AA's are either a welcome message that after Time-Out will transfer the call to a group or will give a menu choice (e.eg: Press 1 for the Sales department, press 2 for the service department).
To Solve this I would do like this: (e.g. with group 1000)

NANSI:NUMSE=1000,NUMTYP=EX;
GHGRI:GRP=1000,TRAF=15,SEL=110000,QUE=0,SERV=10000;
CDINI:DIR=1000,DIV=voicemail group;(5000)

So, if I call GH group 1000 either locally or through the DDI, I will hear the welcome message of callprocessor 1000, and e.g. after timeout be transferred to another GH group containing the members "1001,1002,1003".
This group could be 1010:
GHGRI:GRP=1010,TRAF=15,SEL=110000,QUE=0,SERV=10000;
GHGMI:GRP=1010,DIR=1001&&1003;
If you use the menu function, then press 1 could go to 1001 etc.
The "VMGEI:GRP=voicemail group,IFCIND =1;" command should just be used in connection with the GH group (5000) containing the 12 port for the Aastra Messaging sever.
Not for the goups with the AA's (Callprocessors).

So just remove the VMGEI's for GHGRP=1000,2000,3000 and 4000. And from all GH members.
Then it will work!
///doktor

Did it work?
Please give me a status...

///doktor

Hi Doctor:
This is how i had it configured:

GH 1000 = sales

GH 1000 has 3 members 1001 & 1002 & 1003

calls come in to DID number 1000 which goes to one of the members for example 1001.

1001 and 1002 and 1003 in OneBox have one call processor:
"welcome to sales if you know your extension number dial it now"

all works well, but when running VMGEI:grp=5000,IFCIND=1;
and then dial xxx-xxx-1000 instead of hearing "welocome to sale ,,,, " i get congestion tone.

Hi TeleLion

This sound strange.
Please post the following printouts.
CADAP;
GHDAP - for the VM group.
ICFUP;
VMGEP;
IPGDP:LIM=x;
IPBOI:BPOS=x-x-xx;

Do you get any fault signals? (HIMDP)?

Am on on site right now, but the issue seems to be related to the SPU4 board, if the SPU4 board is plugged in and recognzied by the system, the problem is there, if the SPU4 board is unplugged then the problem occurs, but i need to use Mobile Extension, what firmware should be on the board for Mobile extension to work? what is VMF,VCF,VCF3,VSF3 and DTMF32 used for?

TELEC3

for Mobile extension you really need the SPU4 with DTMF32 firmware on it.

VMF is for integrated voicemail (replaces SPU2)
VCF is for voice compression (replaces VCU/SPU2)
VCF3, same as VCF but with fax support
VSF3 is for VSU functionality (replaces VSU1/VSU2)

I get this:
2-1-10 85 SPU
CAA1122644 R4A01

But according to the KB:
VCF3 = CAA 158 0050
VSF3 = CAA 158 0049
DTMF32= CAA 158 0023

What is CAA 112 2644?
