URGENT T7406 Big Problem!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi I just Installed a T7406 on a CICS ver 4.0... It worked for 5 minutes, then went out of range, started saying "scanning", and now will not stop scanning, no matter how close to base station. Tried powering down everything, changing batteries, changing ports and cordless set number, changed the SS code and then sent it to base station successfully, but now, when I tried to change it again, it says "send error".


HHHHHHHHHHHEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLLPPPPPPPPPPPP!

Make sure that the base is above the floor about 8 feet,and the antenna at an angle 90 degree,and its not close to any wireless network equipment.If you want to resend the S.S .code ,then you have to unplug the power from the base station and plug it back in and within 15 seconds you have to press and hold the ok button for five seconds this will send the s.s. code to the base station,you will see send ok and you will hear confirmation beep,if you see send error try again the same steps.If still not working then you have a deffective unit.

Had this problem and did the following:
Plugged an M7310 into the jack and allowed that template to initialize. Then put the T7406 back in place. Worked. Next step would have been an M7100.
