URGENT subreport problem.............pls help

I have created 1 report. Now I have added that report to a Main report and then I am exporting that main report to PDF file. The problem is Main report PDF file is not showing any data which is coming from database. It shows only static text data. But at the same time if I export the report which I have added as a subreport in Main report seperately then that PDF file shows all the data. So I don't understand where the error is. when I export report separtely it shows all data which is coming from database but when I add that report as subreport in Main report then Main report PDF file don't show any data
Please help me.
I am using dataset as a datasource for report.
