urgent,,,S87 connect to G450 1

Hi Guys
I setup one pair S8730, and media gateway is G450, but G450 can not register to S8730 PE interface, below is my step:
1. Setup pair of S8730 with CM5.2, and unuse Control A and Control B, then configure Co Lan to PE interface.
2. Configure S8730 virtual Co Lan interface IP as G450 MGC List
3. Add mediagateway in S8730

But G450 can not register to S8730, if I need other step to do? Or I need configure other parameter? Or it is wrong configuration? .....
I do not find some high value document, so please help me check it, why G450 can not register? Do you have some document to introduce S87 + G450 configuration?

Yes, on the G450 you have to enable it to be used as an IPSI replacement and provide it's serial number, when I get to work I will look up the command. Needed to do the same thing on an S8500 using PE with a G450 a while back.

I believe it is enabling it as a license server, but I will get you the command ASAP

Thanks for your respond. Because I never configure S85 and G450 too before, so I do not know how to complete this configuration. So please help to provide some command for Server and media gateway.

You need to give the command ip license-server, but this is only for the license and the gateway should be able to register.
If you do a list trace media-gateway ip-address <IP Address> to see the events why it won't register.

Did you enable the "Processor Ethernet" in Comunications Manager? It also must be assigned in the "configure server" of each S8730, and assigned to the "Corporate LAN" (usually)

assign it a network region, etc. You will use the "virtual" IP shared between the 2 servers as the registration address in the G450.

Thanks for your support, now register is ok, but it always display license error, if another configuration do not complete?
What is "command ip license-server"? That is bundle license command?

the ip license-server command should be executed from the G450 and is for the license. You should use the serial number of the G450 to create a license through RFA. After this the license error should disappear

That's correct. Because you did't gave the command ip license-server the S8730 can't read the serialnumber of the G450. If you do, the S8730 will be able to read the serialnumber and you will lose your license mismatch

akso, after you issue the command on the G450 "ip license-server", make sur eyou do a "copy running-config startup-config" to save all of the changes you have made in the G450, so they will be saved and run after the next power down.
