I wonder if anyone could help me with my route table entries as I'm got myself in the soup!
We have an ISDN modem (diva) which is used by our Mazda site to access a remote intranet on 172.16.2.5 The local ip address of the diva is 141.93.1.252 255.255.0.0
This works fine when accessing it from a machine on the same local subnet ie. 141.93.0.9 but we also have another subnet in the range of 141.92.0.0 255.255.0.0 but the they can't reach it.
The subnets are joined by a leased line with a colorado rapid router at each end. I have enabled RIP on the diva and since doing so it looks like the router on 141.93.1.254 has detected it and added a route. This is the route it has added:
172.16.2.0 255.255.255.0 141.93.1.252 J6
However, the router at the far end of the leased line has not added a route and I don't know what I should add as a route?
Any help much appreciated - sweating buckets & stripped to the waist on this one!
Waiting for your replies! Thanks
