Urgent: replication problem

Hi All,

I'm trying to create a publisher at a database but i keep getting the following error:

SQL Server enterprise manager could not create publication 'pubname' from database 'dbname'.
Error 14294: Supply either @job_id or @job_name to identify the job.

Any help?

Please can someone help me or point me in the right direction to find help. This problem is really bugging me. I can't seem to find any solution in the help documents or on the net.

I found one other entry on tek-tips for the same error and there were no replies to that one either. If no-one here can help me, can someone please help me with where i might be able to find help.

This is really urgent and i need help as quickly as possible. I've searched and searched the net and still can't find anything.

Just thought i'd check back here in case someone was able to help. I had to stop replication from one of my other databases last night to detach and move the .mdf and .ldf files to a new location. I am unable to restart the replication between that database now.

Please, please, please help.
