EG
I am connecting my HiPath 4000 with HiPath 3800 through PRI.
I used to use the protocol ECMA1, and it was working very good.
but after resetting the 3800 module, using the same exact configuration, when I make the call from the 4K, it gives me (dial again) message, and when I try to dial from the 3800, it does not gives any message and it freezes (as the system is expecting me to enter another digits)
When I changed the the protocole from the 3800 side to (T1/S2M) with QSIG ECMA1 in 4k side,it does not send caller ID from both sides (and it is very important matter).
Please help!!!

You have to use either Cornv33 or ECMAV2 on the HiPath 4000 side for to get features.
The Cornv33 will give you most features but the ECMAV2 is the newer protocol and is more favourable.

This WILL WORK

On the HiPath 4000 = PROTVAR: CORNV33 SEGMENT=1 - Make it master=y smd=y in LWPAR
On the HiPath 3800 = T1/S2M Cornet N Variant Slave

There is another 'better' protocol but I do not have a KDS to hand yet (did one last week) will get it during next week

Great.
Let me know how you get on.
During next week I will get the 'newer' protocol information via a KDS
However the one above will work fine for most applications.

Do you need a copy of the TDCSU on the 4K ?

Ok another question
in the 3800 side, I have these protocols:
T1/S2M Cornet N Variant Slave (H300)
T1/S2M Cornet N Variant Slave (H150/H118)
which one should i use?

The H300 one is for linking to a Hicom 300/HiPath 4000 so that is the one to use.

If you were linking to another Hipath 3K or an older HiPath 118/112 then you would use the (H150/H118)

Also I find it helps that you connect them 'back to back' in your HiPath 4000 area if possible

Unfortunately, I cannot try it now.
I will try it and give you the results.
Thanks a lot :)
