URGENT PLease - The requested method POST is not allowed

Dear Friends

(Urgent Please)

I am getting the following error when i use post method

The requested method POST is not allowed for the URL /user_demo/output.html

i am using apache server on winnt.

i made some changes in httpd.conf file like this

<Directory &quot;E:/web/public_html/user_demo&quot;>
Options FollowSymLinks
AllowOverride None
</Directory>


But still giving the same problem.

What more changes shall i do get rid on this problem.

please help me.

Hi,

You cannot POST to a html file as if it were a cgi script. If its php, you have to use a defined extension like .php, .phtml or whatever (as defined by an AddType ).
