Hi,

We are preparing some Crystal Reports and need some help.

We have a report which has groups Country, Customer and Items
We have some parameters which specifies the range of Items to be considered.
We want a report which first gives us the sales figures for all the countries.
Then clicking on a particular country we want the sales figures for that particular customer.
Then clicking on a particular customer we want the sales figures for Items.

Can this type of drill-down be done through Crystal Reports 8.5?

Regards,
Asha

How would:

"Then clicking on a particular country we want the sales figures for that particular customer."

know which customer you want to view if you've only selected a country, the customers are ALL aggregated for just that country, so you would see the totals of all customers for that country.

Which if you then clicked on a customer, you'd see the items for that customer for that country.

There are subreports (look at on-demand) which will allow you to pass a value and then requery the database to group differently, so that if you wanted all of a customers sales for all countries, it could calculate then display that.

Please clarify what the above means, and what this thick skull isn't understanding.
