Urgent Newbie to mail account question

If possible please direct me to an appropriate source on the following.

I'm totally green on Lotus Domino and Notes R5. My company has chosen to use this version as supplied by a higher power within my group.

What I have to do : Setup a Domino Mail server and sixty Notes clients.

What I need to know : Can I setup an unlimited user database that directs internal mail to on-site users and routes external mail in and out via a lesser number of ISP accounts (ie. ten from BT)?

I think it's something to do with alias settings but am not sure. The book has been ordered and no training permitted.

I urgently need to know what to do before ordering from BT. Please can someone enlighten me ?!?

You can...if you configure your server to use the BT ISP as you SMTP relay host,all external mail will be routed through it.The BT ISP will also have to forward all the mail for your domain to your server though.Why would you need 10 connections,1 should do(is this dialup or permanent connections?)
