Urgent Need - Livelink Admin service not seen in services list

Hi

On Admin server Livelink Admin service not running and even this service is not seen services list

Due to this our livelink is not working

we have rebooted server but still problem exists

Please help

if admin is not running only search and index will be affected.Why can you not re-install and connect to the database again?are you trying activities such as take an existing prod database and making it into a test server or vice versa?
Obviously something has corrupted your registry as the service will be defined there if it is windows.Assuming you do not have another working livelink the easiest option would be to engage support and have them walk you thru.Maybe they have some tools that will help them understand what brought you to this situation.
