Urgent--many dynamics

Hi, I am using Intergration Manager to imports sales orders.
I found it is really slow recently, So I tried to find out reasons, there is only one thing not normal, there are 10 "dynamics.exe" are running, what happened?
Before IM is really fast, now it is slow.
Also, my database become bigger and bigger, how to purge GP and shrink the database and make GP faster?
