We have a Pix firewall that has a 60mins conneciton timeout. It's a three legged configuration. The problem we are having is that after 60mins the firewall tears all the idle connections. It also tears down the idle connections that are made by the webserver to the database using jdbcpool. Even though a jdbcpool is supposed to have these connections up all the time. Please let me know if there is a way to configure the cisco firewall to not to tear down the connections that are directed to the particular database.
thanks in advance
