urgent how to join two table which don't have relation ship( 1 to 1)

i have to generate report like which is group on code.
if there is no code in table 2 correspons to table 1
then it gives 0 otherwise return sum of weight.

like for above table output shoud be as follows :

1001 30 0
1002 20 15
1003 40 0
1004 20 0

is there any option to generate this report .

Join them on the code field using an LEFT OUTER JOIN.
