Urgent Help

I've setup an auto attendant using short *8401 but when i try to record a message on that short code it keeps stating that no recording has been made.

Even though i can dial *8401 and press 2 ( leave my message ) and press 2 to end.

I even save it and listen but receive message that no message has been saved or recorded.

I'm running version 10.1.

Am i doing something wrong?

Local recording is enabled.

Message too short? try 2>record at least 3 seconds 2>stop recording 3>save >1 listen

i have tried that but still it states that the message has not yet been recorded.

I believe the problem is that it not getting to the point of recording even though it is say record now!

ok not sure why but i recreated and it records fine.

Very strange
