URGENT help needed on viz drill thrus

Hi,
Currently im working on a report on cognos visualizer and i would like to drill down from visualizer to impromptu report. When i try to do this i find that the filter is not passed on from the viz to the report even tho the data items on both have the same name.
Please let me know if you have come across this problem and what is the solution to it.
