Urgent Help: Mail in Reports 2.5

Dear Experts

We are using Oracle Reports 2.5 in Oracle 7.3.2 database.
I want to send the report output to a mailid. I am using Lotus Notes as email client.
When I click on Mail button (report preview), I got this error :

REP 4201 error while initialising mail subsystem
REP 4220 there is a problem with the mail subsystem

what should I do to make use of the MAIL. How do i proceed / install / setup.
