Hi there,

SPS2003 running on w2k3, sql2000 server.

Due to a mistake when updating the webpage via frontpage2003, now after login (ipaddr of my sps sever), it shown the wrong webpage.

Wondering how can I restore the original default.aspx file?
I couldn't search it from c:\, wondering if this file is saved in sql database?

If so, as I have tape backup of sql database, how can I restore this single file from sql database, without affect the rest of the files?

Since my SPS server is in prodcution mode, now all users can't use it & waiting for me to fix it..... Really need your big helping hands!

yes all files are saved in the SQL database, to get your original default.aspx you need to restore your backup to an other server and link sharepoint to it then copy the default.aspx by opening the page as a webfolder (control + o).

and copy it back to your original site.
