Hi all

Here's the deal....bear with me!!

Using Excel 97......From a 'front end' spreadsheet....(F)

Tool opens a spreadsheet (17000 lines of data) , copies it into Access , runs some queries , copies results to another Excel spreadsheet (X) and then from (X) to the original (F). Saves and closes (X).

In (F) it then chops the data into 'chartable' pieces, calculates some totals, then charts the data, saves (F) and then closes (F).

The problem is that when I go to open the file, Dr Watson pops up and won't let me open the file.

I had an old version that worked, but now the same thing happens to it too!!! My computer is running well within it's capabilities so I don't know what's wrong.

Any help greatly appreciated as this is causing me major grief!!!

Cheers

Mike

p.s.

Initially we thought that it was to do with the amount of code and the number of controls (there are a couple of buttons, combo-boxes, spin buttons).....but I've written bigger programs with more buttons and had no problems.

I've tried taking as many of these out as I can but it didn't work.

We've tried it in Office 2000 and XP, with no success.
