URGENT can't add a DC to a domain.

I am trying to add a second domain controler to to my win 2000 domain

when i run dcpromo on that second server it tells me that "the domain ****** is not an active directory domain or the domain..."....what's wrong?

have you setup the dns-server in the ip-settings of the new server to the dns-server where the first dc registered?

I think I found what's wrong, I did not setup DNS on the first DC before running dcpromo. I probably will have to start from scrach on the first DC....
